changes of mind

Nonbelievers most of the time follow science and That's true that science always changes. Theist follow religious book. Which is never change.  

The good think is that science changes and it changes for better but the people who are theist they can't never change their rulebook that even if it has flow in it. So people are stuck on  it even if they think that's wrong but they will still put their trust in that.  

One of the best traits of humanity is that we are able to change our mind. Some people are afraid to.change their mind. What is so bad of changing mind for better evidence and logic? Actually this is the sad part of our society.  If we change our mind society will not accept us because our society stuck with rules that unchangeable and when we do that they will gather evidence to attack us.  

Let me give you some examples. In quran there is some verses about sex slavery , beating wife's and also  The prophet married 9 years old child. 

In present many Islamic scholor do not talk about those issue because they discarding the hadidt and they understand the importance of changing. 

About beating wife Allah clearly says about the you can beat your disobedient wife. If you think back 50 years then it was okh, you don't need to change your mind.  But now your curious mind says that it's ridiculous, that's wrong . Now they don't have answer of the verses so they use the word that Muhammed never beat his wives so now they don't. They change their mind and they also modified the word of Allah. 

That's why progressive thinkers despise religion. Religion actually stop progressive thinking.  If you did not had a book says beat your wife.  Then you would not be caught of thinking how to beat your wife.
